About Me
AFib started April 2018, have been cardioverted twice, several trips to Emergency, each time at M.D.s behest, three admissions before Ablation
. PVI Ablation 10/8/18 at "neighborhood hospital" which is main campus of Cleveland Clinic. I'm an R.N. of many years, still licensed in two states, but cardiology is not my area of expertise. This is experiential education. So far, ablation has done wonders, but this is early days. Section Head of EP did it.
My last Emergency admission was a few days before scheduled ablation, and a Preceptor nurse practitioner, with her NP student in tow, who looked at my monitor as it was going off again, said " If you have any doubts about ablation, forget them, If I were AFibbing as often as you are, I'd be asking if they could do it tomorrow. Since I was scheduled for just five days later, it was a moot point.
