Hi- I got cardiac ablation three months ago, and my frequency of afib episodes has gotten higher each month for the last three months.  Before the procedure, I had afib about 15% of my time; now, it’s 60 - 70%. Despite beta blockers and anti- arrhythmia drugs, the slightest thing will put me into afib: reading aloud, shopping, being at a party. Sometimes, I feel my heart go into little spasms. I feel discouraged! Any suggestions?

What does your electrophysiologist say about this? Perhaps you might want to switch to someone else who has a great deal of experience with ablations.
