Sentara Heart announces the opening of the Sentara Heart Arrhythmia Center at Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA. Official opening will be during Atrial Fibrillation Month, on September 8, 2009.
The new center is dedicated to offering patients the most advanced diagnosis and treatment options available for atrial fibrillation (AF) and other cardiac arrhythmias. The multidisciplinary approach of the Center includes collaboration between electrophysiology cardiologists and cardiac surgeons working together with referring physicians. This approach provides unique expertise and strength treating AF patients not found anywhere else in the Hampton Roads region.
